FEB 02-05: JACKIE LAUTCHANG, BYRON BUCAO, ANDREW BATERINA

FEB 02-05: JACKIE LAUTCHANG, BYRON BUCAO, ANDREW BATERINA

MEET SO REAL CRU

The members of Houston's SoReal Cru are more to the public eye than just anotherdance crew. Andrew “Goodfoot” Baterina, Jackie Lautchang, Brian “Burna” Puspos,Ailyn Isidro, Brian Fucanan, Pat Lam, and Mark Fucanan have all looked up to the Original Soreal Cru started by Andrew’s brother Christopher Baterina in Houston 10
years ago. This bond to elevate the dance scene in the South has taken them all the way to the finals of America’s Best Dance Crew. The group reached a landmark on MTV's Americas Best Dance Crew, being the first group in the history of the show to never be voted in the bottom 2 to face elimination. Having already won such awards as Crowd Favorite and 1st place at World of Dance for 2008, their main goal has never changed-

CLASS ONE: JACKIE LAUTCHANG

Jackie Lautchang takes her love for jazz and R&B and conveys it’s feeling of blues and emotion through her dancing.

CLASS TWO: BYRON BUCAO

Byron Bucao took an interest dancing at the age of 13 along with a group of friends forming the dance group Full Effect. With the group for 2 years his interest & ambition drove him to further his love for dance by joining Channel Islands All-Male. Joining All-Male further developed his own personal style in Hip-Hop Choreography & eventually took him to a position as Captain. With Channel Islands for 3 years he was taken to Nationals in Anaheim bringing home the Nationals All-Male Trophy three years in a row.During his last year with Channel Islands he wanted to spread his artistic knowledge of dance. Knowing that his hometown of Oxnard, California had no outlet for children interested dance. He soon formed the Undeclared Dance Troupe for the children in his community. Within a year of teaching, Byron & Undeclared gained recognition & a huge fan base by having the children perform at various competitions such as Prelude, World of Dance, & Maxed Out.

Byron soon became good friends with the Soreal Cru family when Andrew Baterina and Jackie Lautchang came down to teach the children of Oxnard. The success of working together to help spread dance developed a lasting relationship, and Byron has become a part of the Soreal Cru family.

At the formation of Undeclared, Byron also joined Pac Modern of Cal-State Long Beach & Oxnard's collegiate street team Non-Stop for 2 years. Not only teaching children, he began choreographing collegiately for the teams. Soon after he decided to join MAYVN

Entertainment as the next step in expanding his love for dance.

CLASS THREE: ANDREW BATERINA

Andrew “Goodfoot “Baterina has always been gliding with his two shoes since he was 6yrs old, and has always believed that smooth and sexy is the way to get things done.
