May 4-7: Team Millennia 7 Week



MAY 4-7: TM7 WEEK: JUN QUEMADO & JEFF VIRAY, JED FLORANO & JASON LIM, CHANTHA MAO, KRISTINE "WOBZ" BUETA, AND ALEXIS AVILA

MEET TM7
Team Millennia 7 (TM7) based out of Fullerton, California appeared on both Season’s 2 & 3 of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.Established in 1998, Team Millennia 7 is comprised of seven passionate,driven and versatile dancers whocarry on the traditions of class and professionalism. TM7 is a part of the Team Millennia family and is celebrating its 10th year as one of California’s premiere hip hop dance teams.

MEET JUN QUEMADO
An Oceanside native, Jun Quemado is a dancer and choreographer for Team Millennia. He contributes not only his dance ability, but his breakdance experience as well. Not knowing that his life would revolve around a dancing community, his hunger for learning and become better at this art has brought him to where he is now. Traveling throughout the world he has taught in various countries and states such as New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Texas, Germany, Canada, London, and Norway. His choreography credits include TM, TM Juniors, Choreographers Carnival in Hollywood, Culture Shock and Future Shock San Diego, TKSpin Masters of Movement, FORMALity & HI FI, CultureShock Oakland, Funkanometry San Diego, Second to none, Chill Factor, The Effect, Rising Star Dance Company, and Dance Center of Santa Rosa. He is excited to be apart of Team Millennia 7 and won’t stop until they reign supreme.


MEET JEFF VIRAY

Born and raised in Southern California, Jeff Viray began his dance career in 2002 with Team Millennia at the age of 19. He is currently signed under Bloc Talent Agency and has been working in the industry for years. In 2003, he wanted to share his newly found love and passion for dance with the community, and reach out to kids who didn't have an outlet for dance. So he teamed up with Founder/Director of TM, Danny Batimana and co-founded TM Juniors, a unique program that has grown into a well established dance team. Jeff directed the team for 3 1/2 years and is currently still growing and is stronger than ever.Since then, he has grown not only as a dancer, but as a Choreographer/teacher as well. Jeff has trained with the best of the best in the community. His credits include: Funkanometry LA, Mavyn Entertainment, Unity LA,Miguel Zarate, Rino Nakasone, Jed Florano and Jun Quemado, just to name a few and has also worked with artists such as Ashley Tisdale of High School Musical and Leona Lewis. Even til his day, Jeff considers himself as a student of dance, continuing to pushing himself to get better and better. The possiblities are endless.

MEET JED FLORANO
Jed 'jeddyboi' Florano has been a part of Team Millennia since 2003 and has participated in multiple projects. He started dancing modern hip hop choreography at the age of 18 and has been training with Team Millennia since. Hebecame Team Millennia's Captain his first year on the crew and has taken such roles as music engineer, main Choreographer, and artistic director. In 2005, he joined Mavyn dance co. training under Mario Navarette. In 2007, he decided to turn solo and train so he could come back even stronger. He continued his career as a choreographer and pushed his name to teach everywhere he could in the U.S. and internationally including places like Norway, Amsterdam, and Belgium. In 2008, he and 6 other TM members auditioned for MTV's America's Best Dance Crew Season 2 only to be eliminated, but to come back the next season to make Season 3. He continues to train in not just choreography but in freestyle as well. He believes that in this art, you can never stop learning.

MEET JASON LIM
Jason Lim began his life as a dancer on Team Millennia in 2003 and is very proud to represent TM ‘til this day. He is one of the original crew members that help build the "Under the Bridge" studio for Team Millennia and has won many trophies for TM in prestigious dance competitions such as Vibe, Fusion, and Body Rock. Jason also danced for Mavyn Entertainment from 2005 to 2007. He has performed for up-and-coming artists and has taught dance classes for various studios and dance camp programs. Today, Jason is one of the seven dancers who represent Team Millennia on America's Best Dance Crew Season 3. His motivation for dancing is not only for him to grow as a dancer but also help TM grow as well.

MEET CHANTHA MAO
Chantha Mao began to dance for Team Millennia in 2004, and in 2006 her outstanding dancing earned her the position of TM Team Captain. She held that position until August 2008, during which time her leadership helped TM capture 4 championships and several top 3 finishes in prestigious dance competitions such as Vibe, Body Rock, and World of Dance. She is also a principle dance teacher at TM's Under the Bridge Studio in Fullerton, CA. Chantha has taught dance classes ranging from beginning to advanced levels at various studios, schools, and dance camps. Within her four years of intense training with Team Millennia, Chantha has become one of the most highly sought dancer, choreographer and teacher. In 2008, she was chosen as one of the seven dancers to represent TM on Season 3 of America's Best Dance Crew. Her passion and energy for dancing, fun personality, and blonde hair have caught the attention of thousands of fans all over the world.

MEET KRISTINE "WOBZ" BUETA
Kristine 'Wobz' Bueta started her training at the age of 3 at
MKR Dane Productions. She trained extensively in ballet, jazz, and lyrical modern with MKR till she turned 17. She joined Team Millennia in 2003, training with TM and influencing them with her own particular flare and style. She eventually earned a leadership position on Team Millennia Juniors, serving as their Captain in 2004. During this time she flourished as their teacher and mentor while gaining valuable leadership experience. Kristine is also the co-director of Sheroes, where she devotes much of her personal time developing them into a female force to be reckoned with. She has also choreographed for Barkada Modern, Mavyn, Sheroes, various high schools, and for her first dance studio, MKR Productions. Kristine has recently reconnected with her roots, representing Team Millennia as one of the TM7 on both seasons 2 and 3 of Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

MEET ALEXIS AVILA
Alexis Avila started dancing when she was 16 years old at Artesia High School. As a child, Alexis was involved in Beauty Pagents and acting classes, but never took a dance class till after high school. She danced for Team Millennia for 4 years and began to craft leadership experience as the Captain of TM Juniors, thriving as their leader for 2 years. Alexis eventually explored other groups over time, performing with Breed, EVE: A Dawn of A new horizon, and Boxcuttuhz. She has also made the jump from Captain to Director, creating her own team called Sheroes, a group of strong-minded women whose focus is centered not only on dance, but also on service. Alexis eventually returned to the Team Millennia family, competing alongside her teammates (affectionately known as the “TM7”), for both Seasons 2 and 3 of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Alexis continues to hone her craft together with her fellow teammates, and enjoys teaching all she’s learned to other dancers.
