MEET ADDISON O'CONNOR

Hey everyone, I'm Addison O'Connor. I've been trained in many styles of dance and performance since the age of 4. I trained intensely in ballet, modern, jazz and lyrical throughout my life. I was eventually introduced to tap, samba, and of course hip hop. I attended a performing arts high school in Los Angeles where I really developed my love for choreography as well. I am now in my fourth and last year at UC Irvine. I currently represent CADC and have been a part of the team for 4 years (you may recognize my as the "white girl" in our "Fantasia" set), I am also on Sheroes all-female crew and have been since it began almost a year ago. I was also on Boogiezone's BREED OC/LA team for over a year and performed in its amazing show "EVE: Dawn of a New Horizon". I have choreographed for all three teams as well as for the Asian Greek Dance competition for the Irvine Lambda Theta Deltas and Kappa Zeta Phis for three years. I have also danced in many dance projects over the past 4 years for Khai Nguyen, Nick Golla and Anna Rivera, CJ Edward's Expressive Doubt, Knicole Haggains and Marnita Billups, and Kristine "Wobz" Bueta, and performed at Carnival at the Key Club with many of these projects. Professionally I have also done a few plays, an instructional dance video, and danced promotionally for Miss Sixty and the arrival of "Hairspray" at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. I have been attending Boogiezone Class for almost 4 years now and am honored and super excited to be teaching! I hope many come out and enjoy my class!

Since then, JP has been training and dancing with some of Southern California's best-known teams. In 2005 he joined Team Millennia, and in 2006/2007 he embraced the stage with San Diego's very own Urban FX. Nowadays JP is focusing his time on stage with Mavyn Entertainment, GRV, Boxcutters, and his own side project Street Family.
